I found a partial sheet of these 1918 overprinted, one centavo Timbre Municipal fiscal stamps from El Salvador. They are NGAI (No Gum As Issued). I was separating the few rows to list on eBay (my first selling in years!) and I discovered they are..... IMPERFORATED vertically! Not a trace of an attempted perforation anywhere except they are perfectly perforated HORIZONTALLY. Not sure if it's common for this issue, or this country, as I generally don't collect fiscals, but as I HATE to separate them vertically I will post them here to see if there is any interest. First person to respond with information will win a free row of ten, postpaid, for their collection or to trade/sell/separate. I may have to fold the row in half if shipping overseas, unless the winner will spring for a flat Priority-type envelope. I will also consider offers if someone wants a double row of twenty ( I have a couple!) Working through a portfolio of worldwide fiscals I picked up recently at Southeastern Stamp Expo in Atlanta, an annual bourse and exhibition of the finest caliber! Watch my posts for more in the coming hours/days/weeks! And yes I have this posted for sale on eBay as well: ebay.us/K89dl5?cmpnId=5338273189

Forbin lists them as municipal revenue stamps and the design changes every several years with the overprinted date changed yearly

A gross design error from Iraq. Two stamps supposed to feature two fruit, Citrus medica (an orange type) and Vitis vinifera (wine grapes), with the captions swapped.
Kinda makes you go, "Huh, how the heck did that happen?"

Among the newly arrived Zaïre stamps, this one from a series on wildlife in national parks. The animal featured is mistakenly referred to as an "élan" de Derby, instead of "éland". This mispelling is rather common as the two words are pronounced the same, but "élan" stands for "elk", while "éland" is a type of African antelope. Just the sort of French trick word often used during dictation competitions.

I have a fair few GVI Commonwealth flaws. The attached is a "spur flaw" on the surround of the shield. It does not seem much but the standard stamp has a CV of £2.25, whereas the flaw issue has a CV of £750, the CV's are from the latest SG commonwealth catalogue.

A fun part of the Pitcairn QEII definitives is the 4d issue, which was originally labelled in 1957 as the island's school, and then re-issued the next year with the corrected caption as the schoolteacher's house:

The mail gods were good to me today and four different orders arrived all at once. The first one I opened contained the new Austrian Crypto-stamps, which we already saw featured in thestampforum.boards.net/post/110279/thread yesterday. There are four stamps in this second set (there was another set issued last year, still on my wish list), and they come in cardboard packets like so: I'm not going to unseal the packets, though, but one can slide the stamp out. Each stamp is a different reflective metallic colour, which as mentioned before, just comes out black on a scan. The panda is gold, the dog electric blue, the weasel(?) red, and the llama green. On the back of the packets, there is text in German that reads: Die Crypto stamp ist die erste Briefmarke, die auch als digitales Sammlerstück (Collectible) in der Blockchain existiert. The text is at the upper end of what I can translate easily, but here goes (of course the many Germanophone TSF members are welcome to improve my translation): The Crypto stamp is the first postage stamp which also exists as a digital collectible. On the one hand there is a physical stamp, which can be used as a regular postage stamp - it has water-activated gum and can be separated easily. On the other hand there is on the reverse side of the stamp block under the security tag the entry to your virtual collection. The hunt for the golden unicorn can begin!I presume the golden unicorn is the one on the front top left corner of the pockets, and that there may be some prize or some other gimmick if one connects to the Web site with the security code written at the back of the stamp. I'm not very well versed in this blockchain and cryptocurrency business... The Austrian Post sure has imagination...

I'd hazard a guess that one of the stamps is a golden unicorn, just waiting to be found by someone. Who knows, hrdoktorx, maybe one of those stamps you have is it!

Among the stamps I ordered, this recent set of "thermophile" stamps from the Ross Dependency (the New Zealand Antarctic Territory). When exposed to heat, proposed here by placing a finger on the stamp, a picture is meant to appear (faintly visible in the scan). Didn't really work for me, but maybe my stamp den is too cold these days. The four stamps are meant to represent the four seasons in the area.
