For someone with a stamp from every country collection, it would be a good way to collect the country stamp with the country's flag.

I totally agree with the sentiment above. I try to have at least one stamp from each country with its flag prominently displayed. Sometimes countries are nice enough to make their Number #1 a flag stamp. Or at least one where the flag appears, like in this set of Pathet Lao issues, in 1974:  |

I did not see these Pathet Lao issues in Scott but understand that the Pathet Lao did eventually take over.

New sheetlet from Namibia issued to celebrate the sesquicentennial of the birth of Mahatma Gandhi. It took me a minute to notice that the section with photos of the Mahatma were actually Cinderellas and the stamps were on the top row and repeated the same message accompanying the Namibian flag.  |

After WW2 Cameroun mandates became UN Trust Territories. French Cameroun became an autonomous state on April 16, 1957, with a first stamp issued in 1958 (Sc331 SG271). Full independence was achieved on January 1, 1960 (Sc336 SG276).  |
