I also ordered a small packet of Senegalese stamps. I was very pleased to find the following issues for the 1976 Montréal Olympics within. Just those made it worth my while!

More to buy for my '76 Olympics collection. Is it any wonder I haven't mounted them yet? So many more no doubt to find!

Thanks for the offer, renden, but, as you can see, I already have the Burundi set for the Mexico '68 Olympics: I'm sure some other TSF member will volunteer to provide a home for your fine stamp.

Well, you never deceive me as I had a feeling (having traded some Burundi) that you had it since you did not choose it on the scan at the time - good memory for an old guy !!! Yes if someone needs it they know were to knock !! René

On the Games of the XXII Olympiad of Modern Era, Moscow'80, the saling races took place from Tallinn (Estonia) harbour, on special built premises. It's on an area called Pirita (NE of Tallinn's downtown). By then, Estonia belonged to the USSR. Postcard posted during the regata competitions.

Six of the 12 airmail stamps issued by USPS in 1983 to preview the following year's Summer Olympics in Los Angeles. (Apologies if these have been posted elsewhere, I didn't see them on this thread...) These arrived with me on two different pieces of philatelic mail, with almost no visible cancellation and little damage.

An Official British Olympics Association Cover for the 1996 Atlanta, Georgia Games. Cachet for the British Men's 4x400m Relay. Britain won the silver medal, a great achievement at that time, we only won a single gold. Later, with additional funding we would perform much better! Signed by all four of the runners, from left to right as depicted on the cachet: Roger Black, Mark Richardson, Jamie Baulch and Iwan Thomas. Atlanta, Georgia Olympics cancel on a 32c Centennial Olympic Games stamp.
