Over the Christmas holidays, I won a Facebook auction of worldwide stamps. There are several Olympic stamps, and I was thinking of doing an album of just these stamps. I do realize that many different countries have participated in the Olympics so there are many stamps in the collections.
anyway. I was wondering if there was such a collection of just these album pages. If not I. may look at making my own or as someone suggested, pull the pages from other albums.
Thanks

Thanks Hi Kevin, this is a VAST discipline, possibly more than 5000 stamps Best to try and join the ATA American Topical Association or buy a catalogue such as Good Luck! will be a nice challenge

Another Option Buy a set of William Steiner Worldwide Stamp Album Pages (Circa $45 US)
They will have every Olympic stamp space for worldwide.
Negatives: Olympic Pages will / may also have other stamp topics on the same page.

It looks like it will be a lot more than I first thought. Maybe I will start a bit smaller then add on as I go.
I like the USA one. It covers the topic nicely.
The Russian one looks interesting as well.
Gives me a bit to think about. Thanks for all the replies.

Agreed; 5000+ stamps is a big undertaking! I would start with stamps from each of the host countries only. There have been 29 summer and 24 winter games (Modern Olympics) held so far. Much more manageable. Then expand from there.

I would just start collecting on Vario pages. I would organize by Olympic game year then country unless the country is far more important to you.

Set of three stamps issued by Ecuador for the Sydney 2000 Olympics:
I note the USD currency on these stamps. Had Ecuador moved to the dollar for its economy by then?
