The Chinese title could be read as "Enthusiastic Greetings on the Opening of 1983 China National Philatelic Exhibition", and seems very likely to be a commemorative seal for the exhibition.

unechan already gave the top lines. The stamp is inscribed with the dealer promotion: 中国邮票北美代销局 China Stamp Agency in North America (i.e., Unicover) The bottom two lines explain the theme/illustration: 喜鹊为中美两国人民的幸福与友谊歌唱 Magpies singing for the happiness and friendship of the people of the two countries of China and America. Looks like they are selling online in China for a little over US$1, which I find a little surprising. I didn't check eBay. Again, nice cinderella!

Thank you all, for the information on the China sheetlet, much appreciated!
I seem to have run across more of these type sheetlets many years ago, but I don't have them any more, I likely traded them or put them in my cigar box lots I tend to put unknown items in. Our local club auctions have a lot of cookie tins and cigar box lots trading or selling back and forth...I picked up a cookie tin (without the cookies in it) last Sunday for, I think, five dollars. No super finds but I filled a few holes in Japan, and some British Commonwealth island countries :-)

Received a nice envelope from Londonbus1 today, with a beautiful block about the geology of Israel. A very nice touch considering I had mentioned on the forum that stamps with minerals is a side theme collection of mine!

I bough on a local auction a Schaubek Briefmarken Album "Grosse Ausgabe 1942" EUROPA. Four volume with lots of stamps but more lots missing
So my classic Europa collection will be mounted in these four beauties.

I have been busy sorting and preparing stamps for exchanges. Mounted last of my Liechtenstein collection. Will print pages tonight. Will have to wait til new year to put the album together. Trying to tidy up my stamp corner. Seems to be an endless struggle. The more I “ clean” the more forgotten stuff I find. I hope to commence the new year with a tidy desk. Here’s hoping.

I am in lull of mounting so I have been printing country title pages. I have been trying to do something more descriptive but have not made up my mind yet. I also want to add some section dividers. Since I use 8½x11 album pages. standard dividers could work but the drawback is the fixed tabbing. If you move a country between albums the system does not work well.

I bought myself a Canada Pence issue # 7 for X-Mas !! 10d blue on crisp paper issued Jan 1855. Stamp was graded VG ... .it is not Miss Universe (prior to buying at 30% Unitrade cat value) by a good stamper from another Forum and also a member of TSF, GillesleTimbre, an expert(I feel) on Jacques Cartiers. Presently Gilles is working on Jacques Cartier Plate Project (# 19)(Jacques Cartier decimal) and has only a few stamps missing to complete his project (which can be seen on stampmarter, btw).

Well, I have to admit that I have not been stamping much in the past week. Christmas is almost here now, and I just received hearing aids yesterday. I need a room to put all their stuff in, as well as a guide to their cleaning & batteries and replacement parts and dehumidifier etc etc etc. There is so much to these little things. BUT... FINALLy, renden 's package arrived in the mail. It took almost 3 weeks to get here. I thought I'd get a jumble of stamps in an envelope, but no, no! They are all so neatly placed on sheets of paper... all 10 sheets! And a glassine with a couple more. I am most indubitably impressed, René! Very nice stamps, some with excellent cancellations. I did not think the quality of these would be like this! Thanks so much for the offering! I'm going to be having to set aside some time after the holidays to sort them all out & get them mounted.

I'll keep that in mind as well as either my iPhone or remote. Either can control, but they won't cancel out your voice unfortunately. For that, fingers will have to do!

When I was putting away my 2018 US collection (all mini-sheets, full booklets, or coil strips). I ended up redoing everything. I had kept them in a mixture of vario pages and sleeves. I ended up putting everything in protective sleeves with a sheet inserted to allow both sides. Last year I tried to get creative by creating custom pages but lost interest. The majority are just loose in the sleeves using some colored paper that I never had planned to use. They are stored in We R Memory Keeper binders. These binders are substantial with thick nicely finished covers. Red was not my favorite but that it was least expensive available so stuck with them. The primary advantage of these binders is that they can stand up without slip covers or book ends.

Well, as I'm sure most forum readers noticed, I had several nice arrivals in the last few days, so I kept the scanner warm to show y'all some of the interesting pieces I got. And some new threads were too tempting to ignore. I hope people have been enjoying my posts. As far as my cataloguing goes, I've finished going through my grandfather's Harris albums and I'm now half-way through my Guinea-Bissau stockbook. The end is in sight!

I just spent twenty minutes looking through a pile of postmarks sorting out anything good enough to scan while Win10 tried to burn out the motor on my HDD with the latest update . Now it is finished I can use my own computer again.

I have especially enjoyed the posts of classic material and all of the Chinese New Year issues from Liechtenstein (I think). Anyway, great stuff!
