1974 saw a regular issue, along with a souvenir type sheet. The lower value stamps have illustrations from Codex Aureus of Echternach (Codex Aureus Epternacensis), and the souvenir sheet has a detail from the cover of that book. Read all about it at Wikipedia

Wow a great assortment of FDC. I have most of those stamps. I have considered collect FDC at one time. My m’égare stamp “ budget” does not permit it. I do have a few covers and post cards. I hope to post one day. Keep up your postings!

Unfortunately not Luxembourg auction action in Canada...

I don't know what happened in 1979. They must have been on tight budget with just one stamp from the series of 5 glass paintings on this cover. And no cachet! This stamp depicts "Charity".

Two days after the Charity stamps were issued in 1970, this cover was produced. "Green light - open hearts" is what the slogan says on the cancel. I'm not sure what it was referencing at the time.

The last covers for December. See you next year! Souvenir covers from Sept Fontaines (NE of Rodange) with "Charity Stamps" & "Joy to you" on the side. One with cachet and a backstamp; the other just plain. But each with just one of the stamps affixed to the envelope.
