Alec: I truly appreciate your comments. These cinderellas were actualy issued by the "Comissió de Turisme de Catalunya" (Catalonia's Tourism Board) I know them in two colours:
And, perhaps, you'll like this sheet:
I also agree with you: these sepia cinderellas, have more style thant the 1929 colourfull shown before.

Yes a handsome sheet. Once again the sepia has a warmth and a kind of nostalgia lacking in the black issues, Just a feeling of an era of elegance

From April 1933 to October of that year, there were issued by "Vària Printing Works" (Bareclona) 29 booklets each one containing 16 poster stamps showing different aspects of Catalonia. The price was 15 cents of pesseta (1/166.86 €).
The aim, was to place them on a 40 pages album (sold for 1.3 pta), to hold 400 "stamps".
Printed on 3 versions each one:
They give picture of 1933's Catalonia

On November 2003 (time flyes!), we were with a friend of mine on a stamp exhibition at Barcelona's Passeig de Gràcia, when a Spanish visitor told us that at the Casa Batlló (just across the avenue) store, they were selling Gaudi's cinderellas for a fair price. We rushed there and found this sheet:
It was issued by the Antoni Gaudí Club of Friends in Reus (where, perhaps, the architect was born) just a year ago, to commemorate the 150 years since his birth. It shows somw buidings and artifacts by Gaudí.
There were 3 colours: sepia, black and pink.
You can see:
Top: Gaudí's portrait, Casa Vicens (Gràcia, Barcelona), Bishop's Palace (Astorga, Spain), Casa Botines (León, Spain), Capricho (Comillas, Spain) Bottom: Sagrada Familia basilica, Therese nuns convent and Park Güell, all in Barcelona; a chair designed for Casa Batlló (Barcelona) and the logo of Reus Gaudí's Friends Club.
The price was actually very good (1€ each, as I can recall) and we bought all what they had.
The friend who was with me, Jordi Campderrós (Barcelona, 1941-2021), passed away some weeks ago, due to covid. Seeing these sheets, brought back fond memories of him.

Another yesterday find: 1921 Barcelona Fair, with dates corrected:
This is a later printing:
I like this old-fashioned style. This particular one, we call in Catalonia "Nou-centisme" ("from the 1900") and it reaches up to 1931 and, with a 1931-1939 gap, up to the 50's or 60's (for official buildings)

King Martí view tower (XVI century) at the Gothic Barcelona's Royal Palace, Plaça del Rei (King's square). Cinderella issued on the 1950's, but using a 1920's picture.
On the back there's printed an advertising of the magazine "La Publicidad Filatélica" issued by the stamp trader Josep Majó Tocabens, owner of the shop "Casa de los Sellos" at Barcelona`s Pelayo street. It reached the XXI century and now, managed by a granddaughter, is located somewhere in Barcelona.

On April 14th 1931, after winning a local election, the Catalan independentist leader Francesc Macià (Vilanova i la Geltrú, 1859 - Barcelona, 1933) proclaimed the second Catalan Republic. It lasted only a few days; but, we still remember it.
Cinderella, issued on April 1933, on the Album Catalunya collection.
The anouncement was boadcasted by radio, whose main emision venues were at the summit of Tibidabo hill, overlooking Barcelona. To place a stone plate commemorating this even and raising money, there were issued two poster stamps on rose and green colours:
Withdrawn after the fascist victory on 1939, it was replaced some years ago.

With the relaxing of Covid-19 restrictions, next week, we'll be able to enjoy Catalan National parks, like these:
All featured on the above mini-sheet are within an hour's drive from Barcelona. This is a smal country!
On Saturday I'll be treking on the first, one: Montseny. A range, just 50 km North of my city.

For my 1.000th post on TSF I wish to show an item that's special to me. It's a rather small cinderella (25 x 35 mm) issued in 1921 by the "Associació Protectora de l'Ensenyança Catalana" (Catalan School Protection Association) from a poster by Josep Obiols (Sarrià, Catalonia, 1894 - Barcelona, 1967).
I can remember seing the actual poster
Hanging on a wall on my school when I was 7-9 years old. As it was on 1966-68, at the high of Franco's dictatorship, it was both unusual and shocking for a child to see a poster on my home language (banned for public use) and with a background of our nearly hidden flag. For this reason, this poster-stamp is so special to me.
By the way, earlier last year, I was able to visit my old school, just a ten minutes walk from where I live and have lived for most of my life, and the poster is still hanging from the same wall, after more than 50 years. Catalonia is a country that cherises and preserves its legacy.

Thank you very much, Michael. Do you remember who Introduced me to TSF? It was just 14 months ago today.
As for the poster, still hanging on my old school, it's properly framed. Not just this poster, I recalled most pictures hanging on the walls.
The school will turn 100 years on 2022 and its building is the third one. The first one (a nice wooden building, by the beach) was destroyedon in January 1938 by marine shelling during the 1936/39 war. It has been on the present building since 1948. It's by no means, the oldest school in Barcelona. This si an old country (nothing, compared to Israel!).

I just stumbled across this thread and I love it! I've never seen an Esperanto cinderella, and the only stamps I've ever seen on the topic were from Eastern Europe during the Soviet-bloc days. I never really knew if the Esperanto language had a following in those countries or if the governments were promoting it.
And today I learned that Casals was Catalan and his birth name was Pau.

Yes, Pau Casals took pride of being a Catalan. He was born on the very same town (el Vendrell) where these pro-tuberculose seals were issued.
Pau Casals' summer house at Sant Salvador (el Vendrell's beach) is now a museum open to visitors.
Esperanto, was a language invented by Dr, Zamenhoff, from Poland around 1880. His idea of an international language was very popular among learned low-class people of all around Europe up to the WWII. Fascists regimes (like Franco's) prosecuted esperantists. At the end of the day, English, won...

Barcelona, 1913. Geography congress:
The cinderella, shows a Catalan expedition to "Riu de l'Or" (nowadays, river Gambia on the West African coast), departing on August 10th 1346. Drawing from the Catalan Atlas compiled by Abraham Cresques (Majorcan Jew) some years later.
