Wow, René ( renden ), I would love to complete that set after all this time! Thank you very much, indeed! If you are needing Niger for your French Africa project, I will be happy to sort the rest of my accumulation and let you have first choice of the duplicates. Thanks again! Once I confirm your missing 1.25Fr I shall take you on the NIGER offer as I do not have many (except those ordered) !! René

In 1986,Bermuda issued a 17 stamp set showing shipwrecks around the coasts of Bermuda SG 507-523. From 1988 to 1990,there were stamps issued with the date imprinted and with surcharges. The missing stamps here are 521b $3 value and 617 80c surcharge.

What I collect: I collect world wide up to 1965 with several specialty albums added due to volume of material I have acquired. At this point I am focused on Canada and British America. I am always on the lookout for stamps and covers with postmarks from communities in Queens County, Nova Scotia. I do list various goods including stamps occasionally on eBay as hdm50

The Antigua Scott 121 has been a bit allusive. Generally the Queen Elizabeth sets are only offered as a full set due to the value not being that high. I missed a couple on eBay recently. I would be happy with mint or used of the 4.80 value. Feel free to message me if you have one with a price shipped to Canada.

I rather doubt that people are going to have my missing Scott 68 laying around in a duplicate stash. I do see it offered as a stand alone in some auctions and on eBay, I just need to be patient to find it at my price point.

I purchased this set from a dealer in UK and when I received them, the 2r value SG 77 was missing. After notifying the seller,he very kindly gave me a refund and told me to keep the stamps. I have seen numerous mint copies for sale but so far,no used copies.

For the Swaziland issue, I do not have it either but Scott lists 2 die varieties for the overprint sets.

My first page of German Reich and ... so close ... I could fill the empty space with the missing stamp ... but there is a problem with this stamp. If you look at the perforation (top of the stamp) everything looks ok. Frayed and fibrous. But if you look at the bottom of the stamp ... the perforation is flawless The stamp was badly damaged and was professionally restored. But I will put the stamp back in the empty space, because I don't think I will spend 2 or 3 thousand euros for a stamp someday. This posting is a bit of a cross over between ’So close!’ And ‘Whatcha been stamping. ‘ I was surprised to find this afternoon a small package of eBay auction items being delivered on a Sunday. I do not know why the Jamaica Scott 2 with the pineapple watermark has been so hard to find. It is not an overly pricey stamp. Now that the Scott 2 is here I note that the Scott 5 needs an upgrade. The work is never done. There are a few varieties I may keep an eye open for as well. The St. Kitts & Nevis Scott 6 six pence is a bit hard to find. Mission accomplished. I am content with what I have on this page for now.

So close....and yet so far..!!!! Cameroun 1940 France Libre issues I purchased the 3 missing stamps from 2 dealers in France.Unfortunately, both registered letters which were sent in December and January were lost in the mail.Tracking shows they are still passing through the US mail system, one in Opa Locka,Florida and the other in Chicago. I have contacted USPS and they have told me the items are lost.I havent lost any money but would prefer the stamps. The 20fr value YT 232 has a fairly high catalogue value.

So close! I have been working on mounting Yugoslavia over the past couple of evenings. This evening, I just finished mounting the King Alexander definitives of 1926-27 as well as the same stamps, overprinted with an additional surcharge turning them into semi-postals, and then overprinted again with a series of four Xs in 1928. The overprinted semi-postal set is all but complete. I am missing the 30D, Scott no. 62. It is the high value of the overprinted set and Scott values a used copy at $9.50 in my 2016 catalogue. I haven't looked on eBay or Hipstamp but I can't imagine it is that hard to obtain.

I was somewhat surprised about the higher catalog values for the higher denominations in mint condition.

I was somewhat surprised about the higher catalog values for the higher denominations in mint condition. Well darn, your missing .48 was among the British America auction lot I sold here on the forum a few weeks ago.

With the flurry of buying New Zealand stamps, I would have thought I'd have them all. But one lowly 8¢ Ship got lost in the storm! Buying just one from the set is so difficult. It looks like another set will have to be purchased if I want this one!
I am hopeful, but dang... I put the mount on crooked!

Today's mail brought another plate position for my reconstruction of the 10 cliches of Samoa 1/- from 1877 . They come along tantalisingly slowly amongst a plethora of reprints. I has take 10 years to get this far and several years when I have not found one to add. 1/5 is not a great example having been trimmed on the left. Position 1/3 arrived today after some negotiation on price with a UK Dealer. I managed to wangle a 15% discount on his original price. But WHEN WILL I GET POSITION 1/2 ??
