What I collect: I collect world wide up to 1965 with several specialty albums added due to volume of material I have acquired. At this point I am focused on Canada and British America. I am always on the lookout for stamps and covers with postmarks from communities in Queens County, Nova Scotia. I do list various goods including stamps occasionally on eBay as hdm50

Here are 2 more newspaper wrappers that mean a bit more to me because they were mailed to Port Medway in Queens County, Nova Scotia and have transit marks passing through my home town of Liverpool, NS. They were mailed in 1895 and 1893. At that time Port Medway was a busy port as was Liverpool with lots of business with the Caribbean.

One more Caribbean bit of postal stationary sitting between pages in my British America album. This one is a Queen Victoria era newspaper wrapper from St. Vincent.

Here is an odd assortment of postal stationary in no particular order. A franked envelope with both private and postal franking. I refer to these as reply postcards. Here is one sent from German New Guinea no doubt to a philatelist for their collection. Here is a postal card franked with an image of the first stamp of New South Wales. Keep in mind the first stamp of New South Wales was not a postage stamp, but rather a revenue stamp. A privately franked letter card from a private mail company in Berlin. An uprated postal card from Germany An overprinted envelope from the US territory of Cuba. A stamped envelope from the United States modified to be an order form for more postal stationary. A United States stamped envelope with an official overprint. A possibly unique cut square of a wrapper from Great Britain with NPB W or News Paper Branch W. The W branch is not currently listed in catalogs as far as I know.

A more modern Letter Card from Belgium. The glue of this one sticked so badly, that I could open it,without tearing apart the borders.

An inland and E.C. lettercard from Ireland, with a rather dull front-side,
but with a nice illustration on the back.

One of my favourite stationeries: an inland letter card used for international mail. From Hertogenbosch to Empel it is slightly more than 50 Km,but there is the border in between. Because of that short distance it took just about 8 hours to reach its destination.
This "card" is more like a letter, made of rather thin paper. But it shows the (torn off) border of letter-Cards.

4 Newspaper wrappers with a cheaper stamp which could be put around a newspaper or magazine
hdm1950 showed some wrappers earliar,so it does not matter much, that I own just two of them.
Japan,issued 1880.

Here is another Barbados item. This is a newspaper wrapper that was mailed to Antiqua. It’s unusual for the monarch to be looking out from a stamp rather than into it but here George V couldn’t be ‘against’ Britannia who’s the main subject of the stamp.

Yesterday Alex (vikingek) gave a nice oversight of postal stationeries:
There are half a dozen types of POSTAL STATIONERY
1. Postcards rated for inland mailing and international mailing like your Belgium example
2. Double postcards which had a second card attached for the recipient to use as a reply. Again Inland and International rate .
3 letter cards on which a private message could be written, which were folded and had a gummed strip all round to seal and tear off to open
4 Newspaper wrappers with a cheaper stamp which could be put around a newspaper or magazine
5. Envelopes with a printed stamp, with variants for inland, international, airmail, and registered
6. folded flimsy Airmail letter sheets or AEROGRAMS
In the following posts I will try to show the different stationeries,as far as I own them. I will only show of each one or few of a kind of the different types.
All stationeries have in common, that they are sold including postage, usually with an imprinted stamp.
1. postcards
Austria-Hungary was the first country to introduce postcards, then called "Correspondenz-Karte". The shown card is for inland use.It is addressed to Crefeld in Germany.Till the end of World War I between Austria and Germany inland-postage rates were effective.
It’s unusual for the person who’s the main subject of the stamp to be looking out from the envelope, right, rather than into it, left.

Here is a set of Post Cards issued by Canada Post to celebrate the Diamond Jubilee of Queen Elizabeth the Second. I like them and they make a great collectible on their own. Webb's Postal Stationery of Canada & Newfoundland – 8th Edition is where the catalogue numbers are from.
