This weekend sees the start of the 2022 World Cup in Qatar. I found a few blocks of GB football stamps GB SG1664,issued in 1996 for the European Champions Games GB SG1927,part of 2000 Millenium Series and features Hampden Park,Scotland GB SG2373,World Cup winners.Issued in 2006 and featuring Italy,a 3 time-winner GB SG2372,World Cup winners.This features England,winners in 1966.  |

What I collect: I collect world wide up to 1965 with several specialty albums added due to volume of material I have acquired. At this point I am focused on Canada and British America. I am always on the lookout for stamps and covers with postmarks from communities in Queens County, Nova Scotia. I do list various goods including stamps occasionally on eBay as hdm50

It seemed appropriate to keep this strip together. It is the US 1973 Postal Service Employee Issue (Sc. 1489-1498). I like that the description of each is printed on the back. It would be nicer if I had a strip with the bottom salvage edge which names each stamp. I have a used copy of each mounted in my US album.   |

GB SG 2734,issued in 2007 .First class stamp from Beside the Seaside set. Featuring the famous 99er.A cone with vanilla ice cream and a Cadbury,s chocolate flake.Other brands not acceptable......  Even better is a double 99er...two flakes...   |

One of my favorite blocks. These halfpenny Queen Victoria stamps were used in whole or in part to pay for the postage of a parcel. It has killed me that after years I still can't make out the town name on the parcel cancel.  |
