You should change the title to Blocks and Strips.

What I collect: I collect world wide up to 1965 with several specialty albums added due to volume of material I have acquired. At this point I am focused on Canada and British America. I am always on the lookout for stamps and covers with postmarks from communities in Queens County, Nova Scotia. I do list various goods including stamps occasionally on eBay as hdm50

This attempt at starting a new thread has not created much interest probably because usually interesting blocks, strips and multiples get posted in the country of origin. I had shared these Canada WWII era destroyers before in a Canada thread but are worth a share again just for the number and high value. It would be quite a parcel in the 1940's to require 12.00 postage.

12 Dollars postage in 1940! Nice. I really like military themed stamps. And that's a particularly nice on. I reckon military themed stamps would also make an interesting thread (assuming there isn't already one).

A few blocks from my U.S. Cancels on Stamps collection. Most are first-day of issues with the exception of the last which was used as postage by an eBay seller. The first-days were pulled from American Philatelic Society sales circuit books years ago.

I will always love this little Block. Tete-Beche Gutter Block showing 'Srulik' for the 50th Jubilee of Israel in 1998. It comes from a sheet produced for making up booklets but available from the philatelic service. This little piece could produce 4 different Tete-Beche pairs which is most likely why I find it so endearing. Mi#1451IA SG#1377 Car#1544

Two strips of 'Eureka' Test Stamps from sheet & coil. Not listed in Scott. In fact I am not sure where they are listed. There appears to be little info online so some direction is required. What is funny are the sales offered on these stamps from a few dollars to tens of dollars for similar looking strips !! Anyway, they fit hopefully !

3 blocks of the same stamp which combined, bring back such fond memories of the greatest Stamp Event there ever was !! London 2010, A Festival of Stamps, lovingly covered elsewhere at TSF ! The blocks show one of the 'KGV Accession' stamps issued for the occasion. The blocks show most of the marginal markings found on the sheet issue of the stamp. (SG#3066). I like them all but my favourite has to be the 6th of May Sale date with the single 'Traffic Light' ! We all know what happened on May 6th don't we. Don't we ?

2 blocks with usual stamps from the period of inflation (1916-1923) from Germany - Mi 326 A, B / Sc 295, 306. Notice that the smaller one is "rouletted" and the larger one is perforated The big block has 42 written in the lower left (plattennummer = plate no.) and plate flaw (HT, Sprung, field 63) and PEI (Parallelerscheinungen, field 93) The block of 4 stamps worth 8,000,000,000 Marks represents the local postal rate (up to 25 grams), increased on 26.11.1923 to 32,000,000,000 Marks.

Interesting how similar this block from Spain is to the Brunswick blocks salentin shared today. Spain first started using these in 1872. This block appears to be from the 1876 Scott 221A and was in use as late as 1895 based on the cancel. They have very little value but still interesting.

Mecklenburg-Schwerin issued three 4/4 stamps. This one is the cheapest one, issued in September 1864.
