I have the perfed set but then Liberia seems to have imperfs of every stamp printed. When I first started collecting Liberia I was interested by them then came to realize it was more of a sales gimmick. The country has so many printing varieties it begs to wonder who is in control of the production of stamps.Seems like many are intention "mistakes".

renden Those pictures reminded me of a funny story.I was employed by a major roofing company and was one of the (un)lucky ones elected to work year round.our headquarters was in a very large old telephone company building with a flat roof.We went out that morning to do snow removal and leak calls for customers and returned to find our own building collapsed in on itself.I spent the next three days recovering the trucks inside including our truck crane.

renden I try to post things here that may be relevant in the future, One day someone may run into a similar stamp and ponder as I do right now if it is by itself in the world.

found in that lot with the Newfie OX stamp.A pretty common C1 however it has an apostrophe after "C" in Canada.Does anyone know if this is unique?

Actually I usually find the most economical ones at WM They hold up very well and the best part you never have those yellowed pages I'm sure you've noticed in online listings.Dirt on your finger tips? doesn't matter it's on the plastic not the page.Best part with the top loaders you just pull page out mount your stamps and stick the page back in.Yes it adds bulk so more binders but in the long run much more archival safe.

stainlessb Busy ? that is exactly my approach if you look at the funky frog collection in the Canada thread you will see that is the meat of my collection,Mint and used copies as well as a used block and possibly a mint block as well.Varieties and booklets ,hence my use of quadrille pages.

I can't stress enough to know your material. I spotted this one while skimming through my sellers list, just killing time. While it cost me a tad bit more than I wanted to spend, it is a most difficult stamp to find. I'll post a scan when it arrives.

I believe Lucky is right now up on the tallest shelf in the stamp room.He already cleared off all the outdated catalogs that resided there.Of course in the middle of the night. Meow !

Well if I got rid of the music room and it's contents I guess I could move out of the closet stamp room. That ain't happening though. You guys have great spaces my own is filled not only with the stamp stuff but all the other stuff that has no where else to hide.Under the table are four large boxes of Lincoln logs that I can't seem to part with, and two shelves are the household tools I need handy.

Chris, I have little doubt if I will win it, more a question of how much it ends up costing.

I use white 65 cardstock having moved down from 110.I print quadrille pages for my BNA stuff and Steiner pages for everything else. The quads allow me to mount anything I please in any quantity (see the funky frog collection in the Canada thread) I also use the top loading page protectors with three ring binders.I usually find enough binders in the thrift stores or Walmarts, heck I've even found some at yard sales.I try to keep my budget for the stamps and not the supplies. Many binders I got for 25 cents.I have a copy of the Steiner disk you can borrow when you get ready to start printing pages.

At least the majority of your varieties exhibit other than tagging,When people started with the tagging errors I just about threw in the hat in my search for the Darnell listed stuff. No brixtonchrome I haven't ever even opened the booklets since I got them years and years ago, Nice research you've done and nicely written up too.

Not really stamping but playing detective again.I spotted a couple goodies in a sleeper lot it won't close for a couple days but I'm hopeful no one else spots the hidden treasure.

It may be a hit or miss thing, sometimes I have to sign my name and box number and sometimes they just scan the bar code before releasing to my grubby hands.

Jerry I think Ruby stamps were actually quite good.I lost track of them when I moved to the mountain and couldn't get internet service.By the time I got back online they were gone.It wasn't uncommon for me to bid on multiple lots from their listings.

Today I finally found time to go through the NS lot from LB1.I thought I had spied something odd about this one before I had put it aside and today after looking at it again I'm still not absolutely sure what it is I'm seeing. If you look closely at the right side of the stamp the shading is blurred and my eyes seem to see a "ghost" figure of the stamp image.

tobben63 Yeah that looks about normal maybe a bit neater than mine.I guess the bigger the surface the bigger the mess.I use an old dining table I've been dragging along for years. It ends up covered in three or more projects at once.

Don't you hate that Mike? I can't tell you how many times I almost panic when too many bids are winning with only minutes to close.I still need to pay my bills and buying stamps doesn't do that.
