The panda is the logo for the World Wildlife Federation, absent the copyright markings.
"Collect Stamps..." is label slogan 9 from a 13c booklet pane (5 + label) of the Liberty Bell series (Scott 1595d).

That top row is interesting. The banner they're carrying google translates as 'Against war and fascism'. And notice one of their flags has an F. Possibly a German anti war sports group? Stranger things have happened.

The fork and stethescope is from a sheet of Canadian Industrial Design postage stamps issued in 1997 (Scott #1654). The 45 cent stamp is the same throughout, but added to the sheet are a bunch of small labels, each one different.

Yay! Thanks guys. fabulous info.
I really would liked to have a dedicated thread for "Stamp Tabs" and Unidentified stamps that mimmicks the Old Stefano site That was one of the most popular sites in all Phitaladom....... It would require a locked thread only editable by myself, so I could collate and set search strings for hard to identify pieces of perfed paper, Alas Proboards doesn't seem to be able to afford this scope.
Andoy Cinderella Not locatable by Google search Norway Andoy Sperm Whale 1990 God Strek
Andøya is the northernmost island in the Vesterålen archipelago, situated about 300 kilometres (190 mi) inside the Arctic circle. Andøya is located in the municipality of Andøy in Nordland county, Norway. The main population centres on the island include Andenes, Bleik, and Risøyhamn.

If members recognise any of these shards, please advise country or country/year. The top series of tabs came on a series of East German stamps from 1963. And this set of tabs is found on a 1953 British booklet pane. Ryan

Indeed, that is what I am trying to achieve, otherwise the thread gets choked and disjointed. I was thinking queries and answers could be directed to my email, but then, I don't want rapscallions hassling me with spam. I am still thinking about it. This is what I was hoping to achieve Questions and answers The only improvement, adding text or features so the image is able to be text string searched.

Here are three that you folks can help me with. The other night was our club auction, and I won a large black plastic box containing a few thousand world stamps. I've spent the last couple of days sorting (this is my favourite kind of stamp purchase because you never know what you'll find). Amongst the piles of stamps from all over the world (be ready for some more auctions and give aways in the coming months!) I found a number of labels. These three are a bit of a mystery. This beautiful label looks to be Spanish (Correos), but there's no country name. My guess would be a charity stamp to add to postage? This little one looks Russian, but doesn't have CCCP or the name Russia in Cryllic (it is dated 1992). Mystery solved, Ukrainian postage SC#121. This one is pretty obvious what it is, and I thought it might be a label that would have been added to a stamp. But then I noticed on the scan that the cancel appears to be in Arabic! Curious. Thoughts, ladies and gentlemen?

The second, a "stamp tab" or "label" Umm Al Qiwain "Kings and Queens of England" 1971 exist : 2 tabs, the other COA Note : There are several vertical rows missing from the queens and kings, to fit on the scanner platen.

A Catalan friend at another forum explained a few years back that the voluntary part was not always voluntary in practice.
I asked if that meant you might not get great service without the label, and he said you might get a note in your file at police headquarters pointing out that you might not be an ardent supporter of the regime.
For what it is worth...

Rod that is the proposed coronation issue for Edward VIII. Never issued of course. Pictured is St. James Palace. Some write up about it here: postalheritage.org.uk/page/keviii-coronationI had read recently in Nicholas Courtney's 'The Queens Stamps' that besides the 'Kings Head' there was to be a coronation issue. I had also read in the book that there was to be a memorial issue to George V, but the son nixed that idea. Is that yours?

Possibly Venezuela? Venezuela was officially neutral for most of the war, it secretly supported the Allies, and eventually declared war on the Axis powers in February 1945, a few months before the end of the conflict. Se hitler vencesse nao haveria liberdade If hitler wins, there is no freedom.

Google translate detected the language as Portuguese, not Spanish. If correct, that would suggest one of the following countries as a more likely point of origin: Brazil, Mozambique, Angola, Portugal, Guinea-Bissau, East Timor, Equatorial Guinea, Cape Verde, or São Tomé and Príncipe.

Transgooglelate Rare Cinderellas Anti Nazis, distributed in the period of World War II as a way to support Brazilian ace actions of the Allies. Trazs the following information: The High prices is a consequence of Nazi Piracy. (Ask illustrated with a vessel of the Merchant Navy and sunk by the German ship of the Kriegsmarine). / If Hitler won not There would be freedom.

You are an amazing man, Postmaster. I have been looking for a number of years. Many Thanks. Notes from the Past Albert C. Roessler Albert C. Roessler (1883-1952) was a stamp dealer who was best known for his cacheted covers, and examples of his work are sought by collectors. Roessler was born April 7, 1883, in Newark, N.J., and spent a portion of his early years in Colorado. He was a founding member of the Denver Stamp Club, established December 13, 1905. Within a few years he was established as a stamp dealer in east Orange, N.J., after a period of Nassau Street (New York) activity. With the coming of air mail in the US in 1918, Roessler began the creation of cacheted covers. His first cover, according to Barry Newton (A. C. Roessler: Photo Cachet Catalogue, FDC publishing co., 1976), was for the first air mail flight between Washington, New York, and Philadelphia. He published Air Mail Stamp News from 1918 to 1938. Something of a mystery man, Roessler would never permit his photograph to be published and no confirmed pictures of him are known. Dan Barber in his "Via Air Mail" column in Stamp Collector (September 13, 1980), reproduces two photographs which might be those of Roessler. Roessler is reported to have gone out of the stamp business in 1940, and he died on January 26, 1952. - Kenneth A. And let's not forget he appears to have been a bit of a rogue !! The prices, by the way, were a joke. Anyone buying at those prices has more money than sense.

Let me tack on this little guy, who would seem to be Red Cross-related, possibly from Bavaria, with a 5pf denomination. I know I've seen it before, but I can't find anything. Anyone?
