I like the Canadian Flag Booklets. Much more interesting than many other countries. Sadly, all mine are gone. But here's another Flag to cheer me up !!   Royalist issue of 1963 showing the Mutawakelite Flag and also the Red Cross flag on the Field Hospital tents. A terrible Civil War that did not end. Sad. |

Flags for the 1st of May. We still have a few in our village who fly their Red Flags proudly on this day. These are from Romania. They may not be Red of course !!   |

Very well thought out designs for these Miniature sheets commemorating the 25th Anniversary of the Gulf Co-Operation Council in 2006. Each sheet has one Imperf Stamp while the other countries 'stamps' have no value, but the value is in the sheet ONLY !! I only have the sheets from the State of Qatar and the United Arab Emirates. Also shown are examples from Qatar which were issued (perforated) in sheets (?). The sheets have a high gloss finish.    |

Same motif as in thestampforum.boards.net/post/64314/thread , but as a special sheet issued when the UN were awarded the 2001 Nobel Peace Prize (Sc#816v). This is the NY issue. The same also exists for Geneva and Vienna offices.  |

We've seen this flag before, for the African and Malagasy Union Organization: This flag issue was actually joint with 11 other countries (Cameroon, Central African Republic, Congo (Brazzaville), Ivory Coast, Gabon, Upper Volta, Madagascar, Mauritania, Niger, Senegal and Chad). Here are the other two issues I have:  Any help in locating the other issues would be most welcome! |
