What I collect: Used only - Australia, Great Britain, Canada, Ireland, Western Europe, and Scandinavia, from 1900 to date. That keeps me busy. To be honest I am trying to avoid becoming a WW collector.

I don't know if this counts as a postmark ... Canada Post sometimes prints a motto or slogan on the envelope when cancelling a stamp. In the following picture, the slogan refers to the current ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. Thats a great slogan for anyone putting together a Covid (topical) collection

sharonb -- It's too bad, I couldn't remember where I put this cover! If its anything like my desk/stamp area it will reappear when you are looking for something else!

Dakar, Senegal. (I always thought "Dakar" is a really cool name for a city. It and Nairobi are my favorite city-names in Africa. Them and, for different reasons, Ouagadougou.) The Shakespeare stamp looks for all the world like something that never got within a thousand miles of any post office in the Republic of Senegal, so I'm impressed to see it used on a stamp. sharonb -- It's too bad, I couldn't remember where I put this cover! If its anything like my desk/stamp area it will reappear when you are looking for something else! The Heisenberg Uncertainty Principle at work: "If you don't think it's here, it's probably somewhere else nearby. Or maybe not." Hey, the guy won a Nobel Prize; I ain't gonna argue with him.
