Lovely collection Rod. The Danish seals are some of the best I think. If I may be so bold to add to your display, allow me... Here's what I've got to show: 1917 - 1919 - 1938 - 1939 - 1940 - 1941 - 1943 - 1945 - 1947 - 1951 - 1952 - 1953 - 1954 - 1955 - 1957 - 1963 - 1973 - 1978 - 1982 - 1984 - 1985 - 2008 Jack, if this takes up too much of your bandwidth, feel free to remove them.

I forgot I had this thing kicking around. Not the best condition, but it makes me feel good that I can contribute something. 1932

James, information is a bit hazy, but apparently the 1950 Poinsettia, comes in two varieties. An overprinted issue, on cover, tied. Book yourself a cruise. Some years ago, I received a free copy of Christmas Seals CDRom, I think it only fitting, I should give the owner, some free advertising. John Denune's CDRom, It's a bit clunky, only opens in MSWord2000 but has seal pages for your album, and pics of all US, None of Denmark, only a price list. Very extensive work from John, must have been a labour of Love. So if you are a Christmas Seal collector, get along and see John.

OK, I promise to finally hook up my scanner to my new (sort of new) computer. I have quite a few Danish seals that could help fill out Rod's list, including a few of the se-tenant designs. To be done once I get back home in a week or so.

I assume, based on the designs, that the Danish West Indies issues are separate from the Denmark issues. (A couple of them seem broadly thematic to island life, and the tablets allow enough space for all the writing.)
Yes? No? Maybe? Do we know the range of years for DWI?

Do we know the range of years for DWI? My price list from John Denune shows DWI seals issued from 1907 ($150!!) to 1916. And yes, the designs are different than those on Danish seals. Ryan

That's what we like to see Ryan, away from home, and still logging in Didn't get very far away from home! Made it to Lethbridge this morning before we found out our event was cancelled, so we turned around and came back home. Oh well - I've already sent in my proxy bids for the upcoming auction so I'll stay with those, but I'll be around to watch the action unfolding. Ryan

OK, I had promised to scan in some of my seals, so here's a start. First, I should note to Rod that his list of seals shown on this thread includes 5 seals that aren't from Denmark - they're from the Danish West Indies (1908-1911 & 1914). Here are 1904, 1905, 1906, 1907 (no date on this one) and 1910. The 1904 has the same design as has already been shown, but if you look close on the left hand side you can see it's a scissor-cut roulette perforation. According to the Denune price list, there is also a variety that shows perforations over the top of the roulette. Ryan edit: blast! more image code gone missing. I guess I should edit with BBCode rather than the WYSIWYG method when making posts with images, there's something I'm doing that makes the images disappear. Restored now ...

Also, as I look over the already posted issues so I don't duplicate anything, you're missing a credit for Alan, who has already posted the 1988 issue. (I have a copy also, but I don't need to post it!) Ryan

OK, THAT is annoying. The URL for the 1914 seal image is made up of a big string of characters. Included in the string was a three letter sequence, small "s", capital "O", small "b". The board software decides that needs to be censored, so now the URL contains ...ASaM/BLFhvcensored2s8/w385... . I'll have to upload the scan again to get a different URL that isn't going to be auto-censored. Grrr.
