Whilst looking for the diamond commemorative pack I came across this beauty of a cover. It scares me how I am starting to lose track. Still never found what I was looking for.

I really hope you do enjoy seeing the different bits. Unfortunately I don't seem to be able to get any one in the UK to take my collection seriously as a historical document and that most photographs and art of HM Queen I can identify and have originals. I just don't want the information to get lost ic something happened to me. So much instated in my head. I found my portrait in one of the major magazines over the last few weeks and was so excited. It's historically significant as it is original and depicts the Queen's coronation I tried to let people know I own the original but apparently their specialists know better than me! On a positive we get an extra bank holiday for Charles Coronation. Mine is the original painting. It was shown in black and white in 1953 and colour recently. My answer their loss to portraits that have not been seen before in real life.

I would certainly like to see more. Do you have QEII stamps from other Commonwealth Countries and Territories? Please just ask if you would like to see a certain one. I have large sets for many of the monumental celebrations from commonwealth and territories. Many which no longer exist.

sarah , If you are able, try cropping your images before posting them as it eliminates wasted space for people to scroll through and shows the material in a better light.

Just received this through the Royal Mail the other day, both HM Queen and Queen. I was looking @ my copy of this booklet only yesterday whilst searching for the other self adhesive booklet "Queen" which I thought I had. Looks like another purchase is pending.

HM Queen Elizabeth II was patron of the Royal Philatelic Society London from 1952 - 2022. To commemorate Her Majesty's support for philately the RPSL commissioned Martin Mörck, supported by the Global Philatelic Network, to produce an engraved-style portrait of her. A wax relief print signed by the artist was included in the December 2022 edition of 'The London Philatelist', as a gift to members by the Global Philatelic Network. It is quite beautiful, if only Royal Mail could produce a commemorative recess printed stamp of this portrait. An image of my copy. Stamps from Martin Mörck, who is a Master Portrait Illustrator and Engraver, can be viewed here:

A neat little Queen Elizabeth souvenir envelope I had not seen before , arrived from a deceased cousin's attic clearance this week . Royal wedding 1947 A modest production due to postwar rationing and shortages of paper supplies, The postmark E & P in a wedding bow is common enough but the cover with its modest cachet is scarce I have this on ebay at the moment at £3.99 seller name hamstrungr

I am sorry I haven't been on for a while. My course is taking more out of me than I thought. I have had little time to concentrate on my HM Queen collection which I have missed dearly. I am a fan of yours so keep posting !! René Canada

Great stuff; thanks for sharing sarah :-) I have registered for Mr. Mould's talk, 'Facing the Queen' and had a look at some of the other presentations offered by Gresham College; there are a number of other offerings of interest as well. Have fun and happy collecting! P.S. It is nice to see you back on TSF

So rubbish at keeping up with this site. Role on June and I will have finished my course. It has been intensive to say the least.
So missed going through my Queen stuff to be honest. It brings me so much pleasure. I will definitely be back more frequently after my course has finished. The last month has been tough. One of my friends lost her daughter the same age as my own daughter. She was only 18 years of age! It certainly puts life into perspective and what is important and not to take anything for granted.
I thought I would let you know I have been invited to go on the Coronation Special Antique Roadshow in the UK. Not sure when it will be shown. God help them is what I say! I am not sure they know what will hit them. I am going to be showing a Dorothy Wilding portrait hopefully. Its not set 100% but looks like they are inviting me up. Hopefully might even get to mention the Dorothy Wilding stamps. I think they were shocked at the size of my collection!
I have found an incredibly special portrait which I will get round to showing you. It really is incredible. I have found the artist's grandson which makes it even more special. Again its trying to find the time to show you.
