I think the next time we saw a Dorothy Wilding portrait was then in 1990. Her portrait was one of 4 used to celebrate the Queen Mothers 90th birthday. I don't actually have this set. This is a photo of the stamp.

The next year is then 2002. A Dorothy Wilding portrait was used twice in this year. The first to celebrate the Queen's Golden Jubilee. The Dorothy Wilding portrait is the 1st stamp. Was lucky to find covers signed by other photographers of the set of 4 stamps. Lord Snowdon and the Earl of Litchfield signed under their particular stamps. The second to last cover is signed by Queen's maid of honour at her coronation. The last cover is a cover from Buckingham Palace. In this cover you also see Dorothy Wilding portrait in the bottom left hand corner

Here is a banknote from Bermuda depicting the Machin head, lower left. Since it is a little indistinct, I've added a close-up. This banknote is also interesting because the design is vertical and the design at the bottom of the note continues at the top.

I am very sorry I have been a way for a while. My masters part of my degree for my prescribing and health had to take over for the last few months but finished it last week.
You think I waffle on this page. The lucky marker of my final piece of clinical work has to read 188 pages!!! hence the reason for the lack of time here. I do like detail lol x
Fortunately I have done really well in my exams and other essays so fingers crossed should find out I have passed the total course on August 8th. I cannot wait to have no more hours of homework and late nights.
In the meantime I have a time off work from tomorrow to catch up on all things Queen! My daughter and I are flying to America on Thursday for medical treatment that cannot be obtained in the UK. Hoping it works and is life changing for her. I have many hours to browse and write whilst she has treatment. If you see me on here please say hello x
I have come on here to say a huge thank you to my friend Beryllium Guy for helping with the Dorothy Wilding article. I hope you all enjoy reading some more interesting facts on Dorothy and how it has helped me at my lowest times. Sarah x
