I like calling them Jennings. Keeps the consistence of naming them after the artist.

Now that Machins are a close-ended series, I'm watching a couple of websites where I've downloaded album pages from previously. I'm hoping to find a set of album pages that cover the complete series. Seems reasonable, right? Maybe it's too early for such a set of pages just yet, but I'm sure one will show up. Has anyone seen one yet?
That page seems to offer a pdf of album pages that just might be complete. I see a page of stamps issued in April of 2022 with the QR codes. Can anyone much smarter and more familiar with the series than I am verify that it is complete?

Wow! Great catch! Gives me new hope for the box I'm currently digging through. Hopefully I find something like that.

England! I received my first order from Royal Mail’s website today. Took 4 weeks to arrive. I’ve tried before with no success to order from that website. Very excited, and I’ll be ordering again!

I believe I got one of those sheets with my first U.S. stamp album. Bound, soft cover, and forever stuck in 1975.

Congratulations! I have had a hit and miss history with direct orders to Canada. would be a miracle to arrive in 2-3 days. But the I have had stamps arrive from Paris in 4 days. David I’ve actually had pretty good luck with Canada Post. There just haven’t been any stamps I just had to have recently. But I still collect them if the opportunity presents itself.

I had to look up the company to understand the comments. As I thought, they were involved in slave trade for a length of time, correct? I'm guessing that is the reason for the irony of "Honorable" in the name?

Miracles never cease! I was finally able to actually order something from Royal Mail. I'm not in the UK, so this was quite a revelation. I just had to get the Flying Scotsman stamps. I've tried in the past to order from their website, but I've never had any luck getting anywhere on it. I assume it was because I'm in the states and it couldn't workout my mailing address for some reason, or maybe (more likely) because I did things correctly this time, and it took my order. I just received an email saying my order had shipped and it should arrive in 2 or 3 days. I'm going to say that's a little optimistic, as I am located in Ohio, not in GB. lol But we'll see. I may have to frequent that website more often.

I find it easier to do with U.S. stamps. After 50 years of collecting, I feel I know what is super common. I can separate the wheat from the chaff, and if I'm left with a box full of extremely common stamps from, say, after 1940, I can let them go without feeling guilty. That said, I still seem to always have a shoe box full of U.S. used lying around.
The items I can't seem to let go at the moment are a couple of index card boxes with some various old WW stamps. These card boxes came with a couple of older collections I inherited. I'll sort through them occasionally, but they still sit on my desk, full of glassines of different stamps from countries I have no interest in. I'm pretty sure they are all common stamps, but I'm not 100% sure. So they still take up space.

This was exactly my fear, that we'd see nothing in terms of historic event stamp commemorations like we did for the Bicentennial. Those Bicentennial stamps were what got me hooked.

Reviving this thread just a bit, because I'm looking at pages for 2022 for my Mystic Heirloom album for. I looking at the pages Mystic sent me for 2020 and 2021, and I'm not overly thrilled with them. I'll lay some blame on the USPS, because they issue a lot of different stamps in different formats. However, Mystic doesn't seem to know what to do with the different issues. There's a lot of different formats of mini sheets (20 stamps), and they show them in different manners. They might show a strip of the five different stamps from a mini sheet. They may allow for the different stamps to be mounted individually. They may allow an entire page for a complete mini sheet. They're latest idea, which they've done since 2019, is to have a set of pages for complete sheets. But they don't do that for ALL of the mini sheets, and they number the pages differently so that they don't fall in line with the pages for that particular year.
I have access to Steiner pages, and I'm really thinking about using those going forward. I've downloaded recent years' pages, and I like what I see. The spaces allowed for the stamps kind of make more sense. I like how they're showing strips of 4, 5, or blocks of 10 from mini sheets. I can add a page for a sheet if I keep the entire pane. The Mayflower stamps in 2020...I love that mini sheet, but Mystic didn't deem it worthy of a page for the entire pane. It's a little frustrating.
If I go this route, I'll lose the stamp info on the left facing pages. I'll have to use white paper, because I'm sure I can't find cream colored paper of that same weight. But I can more or less arrange the stamps in a way I like better. However, I'm not sure if my OCD nature will allow me to change to different pages after all this time. Steiner hasn't done the 2022 pages yet, so I have some time to think about it.
Whew. OK, venting finished. I'd be curious to hear from others who use the Mystic album...I know there's some of you out there. What's your solution been?

Thanks for your reply, I will sort through my spares & send you them. It may take a while & Royal Mail are still not accepting some international items. The following link might be useful. www.collectgbstamps.co.uk/default.aspHello daveg28 if you PM me your mailing address I will get the stamps mailed off to you. I've just spent this morning sorting them out. I'm assuming you collect used stamps?? Yes I do! Sending a PM now.

I received this box today. Chocked full of stuff to sort and discover. My wife got it in before I got home and was terribly intrigued by the box covered in stamps. Then I opened it for her and her response, “Oh. More stamps.” I always tell her, there’s much worse vices I could have. Lol

Think they’ll just use Charles’ profile going forward? Would seem to be the easiest transition.

That may be part of my problem. My only GB catalog is a pdf version of the 2013 Scott catalog. I use that and stampworld.com to identify anything. I’ll guess I’ll keep with that approach and a dose of patience. Thanks for the advice!

I have a generous accumulation of GB commemoratives of mine own that I’m anxious to start sorting. But, it’s overwhelming! Any advice on figuring what year these are from? There are many that do not have a year in the design that helps identify them.

Hi, I have that Album. So far I have found no holes for standard issues, and has spaces for souvenir sheets, so I say $30 is a good price. I got it for $25, so that’s my deal of the day. Seems to be entire years missing here and there. I know I have some of the missing stamps, so it’ll be a good start. My USSR’s are still in glassine’s awaiting s home.

I’m at my local stamp clubs annual show. It gets a little smaller every year. I did have something catch my eye. A really nice condition Mystic USSR album covering 1967 to 1991. About half full of mint stamps. He has $35 marked on it. Already said he’d take $30. It might be a boost to my beginning USSR collection. Anyone think it’s worth it?

I can't say that I've had any problems with your English, Rene. If someone has left this forum because they can't understand what you write, they're missing out on having a good friend. Their loss.
