I had an absolutely gorgeous poster stamp gifted to me in the recent past but I know nothing about it? If I have posted this before I must apologize as my memory isn't quite what it used to be because of the mini-strokes but I am enamored with this stamp. It has pristine original gum and no sign of any hinge. I was hoping you Cindie collectors could maybe help me figure out where this came from or how it was used? It's a beautiful piece of advertisement and it's quite large too. height 3" x width 2" . |

I like the one advertising the hand grinder for sausages.
The meat-grinder issue you like is certainly aptly named - 'Hack Maschine'. For myself and especially after sharing the Hartung image earlier in the week, the label advertising the men's clothing fair at Amsterdam's RAI is a treat ;-) A close second is the poster stamp for Pope Boniface VIII or maybe it is the one with the ijsbeer and its cooling effect for warmer climes...

I'm not lucky enough to speak Esperanto, but I've got some cinderellas on that language. Among them, these from the 1954 Haarlem Esperanto Congress (see the full block on the Esperanto cinderellas thread).

One of the greatest poster stamps of all time. Designed in 1912 by the Austrian artist Egon Schiele (1890-1918). It features a self-portrait and text advertising a festival of music and literature in Vienna. Schiele died, at the tragically young age of 28, in the last pandemic, the so-called Spanish Flu. This beautiful Cinderella shows Kate Hendrickson's Poster/Address Stamp, first used in 1980. It is her version of Berthold Loeffler's design for the 1908 Vienna Secessionist Art Show. There were multiple versions of Kate's stamp showing different addresses. It's a very eye catching design. Kate was a gallery dealer but now concentrates on her own artwork.
