A block of four "savings stamps' issued by Look magazine to apply toward the cost of a subscription. The labels most likely accompanied solicitations to subscribe.
For those too young to have seen a copy of Look, it was a photojournalism news magazine published in Des Moines, Iowa, by Cowles Media from 1937 to 1971. It was intended to compete with Life magazine, which it did successfully, although, it never replaced Life as the leading photojournalism news magazine.
As a boy, there was always a copy of Look in the house. My mother was an avid magazine reader and because Look was an "Iowa" magazine, she subscribed to it in place of Life. Don StampHinger

Printing Exhibition in Aelst. Cinderella stamp from June 1911 for the exhibition (slight bit of mis-register on the yellow). The statue depicted is that of Dirk Martens (or Thierry Martens) (1446-1534) who set up his printing workshop in Aalst. He is Belgium's first printer.

Does anyone know when this series of National Trade Week labels began and how long they ran? Were they printed through the WW II years?
I have examples dated 1938-1941 and recently acquired the label below dated 1948. The 1948 label notes that they were printed annually by the U.S. National Chamber of Commerce. I'd like to collect them as a set if there is yearly continuity for them.
